This was my contribution to a collaborative effort to create an identity for a non-profit organization on Long Island. This campaign won a Silver certificate of excellence from the Best on Long Island (BOLI) student design competition in 2006.

The bear in the poster (first image) was my favorite childhood toy and worked well in conveying the fear that results from child abuse without being overly literal. The hands were affixed to the face using a barbaric form of stapling, but the teddy bear remained unharmed during the procedure.

The other two images are supplemental to the first. No staples were needed.

Interestingly, the actual organization (CCAN) contacted me for permission to use the design and image of the teddy bear in a small print campaign.
